Rodenticides carry real risks for pets and wildlife. Secondary poisoning of animals that eat a poisoned rodent is well documented, and it matters even more on hillside lots near open space where coyotes, hawks and owls are common. So we use tamper-resistant stations, follow the product label, and place them out of reach. We also avoid scattering loose bait.

If you have children or pets, tell us on the call. We will plan placements around where they play and sleep. For cleanup we follow CDC guidance: ventilate, wear gloves, do not sweep or vacuum dry droppings, and disinfect before wiping.
